Justice Bakes coordinates quarterly bake sales to raise funds for the National Network of Abortion Funds and local abortion funds. All proceeds will support abortion funds.

To make this work, Justice Bakes will need a network of people willing to donate baked goods to sell AND willing to volunteer to staff a bake sale at least once per quarter. We would love to eventually expand to have bake sales happening at multiple farmers' markets on a monthly basis. To do that, we need volunteers!

 

We are also seeking donations of tables, chairs, and tents for our bake sales, as well as resources for signs. And if you are or know a professional baker, we'd love donations of baked goods and/or gift certificates to raffle. (With proper credit and advertising, of course!)

 

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how important it is right now to help organizations that are helping women access abortion and other reproductive health services. Many states have already banned or cut off access to services, and states that do provide them, such as California, are seeing an influx of women needing help coming from other states. Resources are scarce, and our goal is to help in some small way by doing what we do best: baking. We also want to bring some joy in this moment, and what better way than mobilizing bakers and raising funds through delicious treats!
